PhD student travel support

Reimbursement of accommodation expenses of PhD students by the MASCOT-NUM research group

PhD students who need help with covering conference costs may consider applying for a financial support from MASCOT-NUM.

The support consists of the reimbursement of:

• accommodation + breakfast for the duration of the conference (max budget of 70€ per night)
• extra meals non offered in the registration package (max budget of 17.50€ per meal)

Note that the number of travel funds will be limited due to budget constraints.


Requirements

Important: The application must be sent before May 25 due to constraints imposed by the administrative process.

To apply, the PhD student should have an abstract accepted as either an oral presentation or as a poster.

After notification of acceptance of his/her abstract, the PhD student has to email the following documents to mascotnum2022-apply4funding@sciencesconf.org, with his/her PhD supervisor in cc:

• the accepted abstract
• a provisional budget (with details of travel expenses)
• dates of arrival to / departure from Clermont Ferrand  

Notification of acceptance will be sent to the applicant by the MASCOT-NUM research group.
